When Home Feels Too Soon

If you are looking for a safe, sober, supportive place for someone you care about, Pasos may be the kind of place you’ve been looking for.

Families Look to Pasos When…

There is often a point where a loved one no longer needs a clinical setting, but returning home still feels too soon. Families may be looking for somewhere calmer, more contained, and more personal than ordinary accommodation, a place that feels safe, respectful, and supportive of the next stage.

Welcome PASOS RECOVERY GUEST HOUSE

When home does not feel like the right next step: Because too much may still feel fragile, uncertain, or easily undone.

When ordinary accommodation does not feel like enough: Because environment, boundaries, and stability matter.

When you want something more personal: A smaller, founder-led guest house can feel more relational and less exposing than more generic options.

Looking for Clarity?

Families are often looking for the same core things: safety, reduced chaos, clear boundaries, and the reassurance that their loved one is in a place that feels respectful and steady.

The Couple Behind Pasos

For many families, trust comes down to people. You want to know who your loved one will actually be with, and what kind of home they will be stepping into.

Pasos is run by Margaret and Andy Schweitzer, who live on site and are directly involved in the everyday life of the house. Their presence helps shape the atmosphere of Pasos and is part of what makes it feel more personal, grounded, and relational.

As parents themselves, they understand that this stage can feel significant not only for the guest, but for the family as well.

Between them, they bring more than 30 years of long-term sustainable recovery to the life of the house.
